*Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bellwether Property! As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our vacation rental properties. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repairs promptly, and ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of vacation rental properties to identify maintenance issues and repairs needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and appliance maintenance.
- Address guest-reported maintenance issues promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with property managers and cleaning staff to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder items as needed.
- Monitor property systems and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist with property renovations and upgrades as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to maintenance inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or property management industry.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
