We are currently exclusively engaged in the search for a Cost Accounting Manager to join the accounting team at our middle market company. This position is integral to our company's recent growth trajectory through acquisitions, and we are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is 100% in office.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the Percentage of Completion process, while working with Project Management.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Cost accounting or project accounting with construction or manufacturing highly preferred!
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
