Located right off 495!!We at Forge Hill in Franklin, MA are looking for a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team! As a CMT, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.What is our need: 2pm - 10 pm, 2 week rotating schedule including every other weekend.Week 1 Mon, Sat Week 2 Sun, Fri , CNA shifts available as well.You do not need to have med tech licensing as we have our own course here at Benchmark.You do need a CNA certification.CMT Duties & Responsibilities
CMT Requirements
- Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
- Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
- Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
- Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of prn meds.
- Responsible for documentation on prn meds and affect.
- Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

CMT Requirements
- Must have state CNA License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration
- Successfully complete medication technician competency class and review (as supervised by RN / RCD) quarterly
- CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- The Medication Technician must complete a training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion.
- Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter
- Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide training program
- High School education preferred
