Manufacturing Quality Technician

Shift : 3rd (2nd shift also open)

Pay : $20.65 for training, then $21.15 / hr

Location : Greendale, IN

Overview :

Oversees the Quality Assurance function from raw material receiving through to finished goods; tests & inspects products at various stages of the production process;

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the Quality Assurance analyses / functions in the processing of raw materials to finished goods
• Ensure compliance to FDA, DOC, USDA and GMP specifications and regulations.
• Perform the Quality Assurance functions of production lines
• Obtain samples and perform analytical testing
• Identify and hold non-conforming products, packaging and ingredients.
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety Procedures

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma / GED or one (1) to three (3) months of related QA experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to calculate mathematical figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Understands manufacturing software.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to occasionally lift and / or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, reach and / or stoop
• Successful completion of a post offer physical assessment, drug screen and background check required.
