Benepass is Hiring a Remote Recruiting Coordinator - Part Time/Contract

TEAM & ROLE

Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week

Duration: 6-month contract *Subject to change based on business needs 

Compensation: Hourly $20.00

Employment Type: Contract/Part Time 

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Team. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process as we continue to grow and attract top talent across all departments. 

The Recruiting Coordinator will report to Lauren Ortiz, Manager of Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency gains, ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the Benepass interview process. You will be an invaluable partner in guiding candidates seamlessly through their journey with us. The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, be data-driven, and thrive in ambitious environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Coordination:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Send calendar invitations and confirmation emails to candidates and interviewers.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with all parties involved in the interview process.
  • Schedule candidate check-in calls.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as needed.

Pipeline Cleanliness & Managing Inbounds:

  • Maintain and organize the recruitment pipeline, ensuring candidate information is up-to-date.
  • Track and manage inbound applications and resumes.
  • Filter and screen applications based on predefined criteria.
  • Ensure the applicant tracking system is updated regularly with candidate statuses.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Schedule and prepare documentation for meetings, such as kick-off meetings and debriefs.
  • Take detailed notes during meetings and debriefs, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions and decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of offer letters and other recruitment-related documents.
  • Support the recruitment team with various administrative tasks as needed.

ROLE LOCATION & TRAVEL

  • While this is a remote position, candidates must be located in Sacramento or the Bay Area.
  • Availability to meet in person monthly or as needed at our Oakland or in Sacramento depending on the candidate's location.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6 months - 2 years of recruiting coordinator experience, preferably in a technology-focused environment
  • You have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or CRMs 
  • Experience working with candidates and hiring managers 
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills— you are highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required

BONUS SKILLS

  • Experience using Ashby
  • Start-Up Experience
  • Familiarity with Slack
