Job Description: Benicia Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Dental Assistant. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry , has a positive attitude, and eager to start their career in the field. Our office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dental hygienist during patient dental cleaning visits
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays (we will help train if applicant does not have previous x-ray experience)
• Assist hygienists with patient post-operative instructions following dental care
• Perform various office tasks as needed to maintain efficient workflow

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
