Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Observe the Financial Advisor(s) in their interactions with the client and attend/participate in client meetings when appropriate.
- Assist the Financial Advisor in the creation and completion of client documentation, prepare and provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients.
- Serve clients by scheduling appointments, preparing for meetings, problem solving, thorough investment research, issue resolution, financial planning recommendations etc.
- Collect data from clients to assist the Financial Advisor in preparing financial plans.
- Assist the branch team in client acquisition activities.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in financial services
- College degree preferred (Business, Finance, Sales, or Marketing)
- Understanding of the financial planning process
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be highly relational with clients and staff
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter with strong work ethic who is assertive, independent, and a global thinker
- Required: Series 7 and 66 or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
