Benjamin Franklin Charter School is Hiring a 2024-2025 Art Instructor K-6 (Part-Time, Gilbert Campus) Near Gilbert, AZ
- While under the direct supervision of the Principal, the Teacher will plan, organize, and implement the schools instructional program in a learning environment that motivates and guides students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
- Support BFCS Vision, Mission, and Goals.
- Promote and adhere to BFCS policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe, structured environment focused on academic excellence.
- Create a learning environment that is engaging and conducive to effective instruction; maintain standards of student behavior.
- Prepare and follow lesson plans correlated with the prescribed curriculum and pacing guides.
- Communicate learning objectives to students in a well-planned, organized manner using clear and precise language.
- Monitor and assess student progress; provide ongoing feedback to students and parents.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis to discuss students progress
- Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records as required by law and school policy.
- Reflect on teaching practices and strive to improve professional competence.
- Assume responsibility for meeting classroom and school-wide student performance goals.
- Attend staff meetings, participate in curriculum development programs and serve on committees as required.
- Participate in school-wide events, scheduled meetings, and parent conferences.
- Meet any additional specific job requirements as indicated by the school site or District.
- Be responsible, reliable, and punctual.
- Promote positive interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be flexible and adaptable to change.
- Positively accept direction and performance feedback.
