The role of the School Adjustment Counselor for grades K-2 is to assist with the social and emotional needs of students. This is a comprehensive counseling position, encompassing duties similar to both a traditional guidance counselor as well as those of a traditional adjustment counselor. The School Adjustment Counselor supports the academic and behavioral success of BFCCPS students. The School Adjustment Counselor provides critical, differentiated services for those students identified as needing social and emotional support.BFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
