We have an immediate opening for a Dental Insurance/Patient Coordinator Receptionist to join our team! If you have enough experience, the position may eventually be upgraded to an Assistant Manager position. This is a unique opportunity for someone to jump start their career.
Past experience in a Dental Office is REQUIRED. Position is full time or part time. We are a private family dental office. If you have ever worked for one of those corporate chop shop type dental offices, you will very much appreciate how different the dental experience is here at Custom Dental. The person fulfilling this job will be a important part of our front desk team. The position has great job security and is available immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for insurance-related inquiries and issues
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for insurance claims
- Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance information
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a patient coordinator role or similar position is preferred
- Familiarity with dental billing and coding is a plus
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
