Join a multidisciplinary marketing team at a dynamic, woman-owned transportation and logistics leader based in McDonough, GA. The Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, registration, logistics, and budget management. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement event marketing plans and event activations including creating promotional materials and coordinating post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an event planning role.
• Experience working with a marketing team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly able to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with C-Suite executives as well as blue-collar employees.
• Able to work flexible hours before, during, and after events.
• Experience coordinating events, symposiums, and tradeshows.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Past experience working in Transportation & Logistics a plus.
