Overview:

Assist in providing agents, customers, business units, & more with freight quotes. Rates are based on market data & pulled via various methods.

Duties:

• Organize and prioritize RFP requests in CRM and ensure all data is uploaded and up to date.
• Compile customer bid data and incorporate analytical data from established tools to assist in determining optimal pricing strategies.
• Work with operations to provide spot quotes to customers in a way that maximizes revenue.
• Support sales, operations, and customer service and ensure all contract info is current and communicated efficiently.
• Create, analyze and maintain pricing reports, audits, statistical analysis and business intelligence reports.
• Knowledge & understanding of trailer types or the equipment needed to transport freight is a critical aspect of this position. Experience with trailer types & equipment is not required; however, it is preferred.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Logistics) or relevant experience.
• Microsoft BI experience a plus.
• Expert knowledge in Excel (V-look-up/Pivot table a must).
• 1 – 2 years pricing experience required. Transportation or Logistics Experience. preferred. If no experience, must have degree in area listed above).
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.
• Must possess strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Organized: Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills and attention to detail.
