Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional Aide to join our Middle School team. The successful candidate will work 1:1 with a student, providing individualized support under the supervision of a certified instructor. Responsibilities include assisting in a classroom setting and supervising various areas such as washrooms, playgrounds, before and after school supervision, and general oversight of the cafeteria, library, hallways, and other instructional settings as determined by the administrator. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and adoption of instructional materials.
Assist with the supervision, escorting, and instruction of students as directed.
Assist with the maintenance of accurate records on student progress.
Assist the teacher with all aspects of the daily instructional program.
Participates in staff development activities as directed by contract.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by administration.
Hours 37.5 hours a week, 7.5 hours a day- Elementary Schools 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with a 30 minute duty free lunch Benefits
$16.80 per hour and per pay period placement stipend
