What will my role entail?

This will is a temporary, 6 month project position with the possibility of going full time. The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing financial insights and support to various departments. This role involves preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Skills: The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. They will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Software: Experience with Sage Intacct software preferred.
