What We’re Looking For :

• Proven leadership experience in the kitchen or hospitality industry
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Your Responsibilities :

Operations : Ensure all food items are prepared and served according to Bento’s standards of quality, consistency, portions, and timeliness.

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.

• Team Leadership : Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with team members. Maintain positive staff morale by recognizing employees daily and setting daily kitchen goals.
• Inventory Management : Oversee inventory control, order supplies as needed, and ensure cost control. Conduct daily / weekly inspections of shipments and products.
• Health and Safety : Implement the health, safety, and hygiene regulations set forth by the DBPR and maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures.
• Human Resources : Oversee hiring, training, and development of kitchen staff. Conduct bi-annual employee evaluations and address any reprimands promptly and professionally.
• Administrative : Create and submit schedules on time, attend required meetings, and implement company policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• Minimum Age : 18 years
• Previous experience in a kitchen management role is preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and operations
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• ServSafe Manager Certified
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
