Benton Technology Solutions is seeking an entry-level Information Technology Specialist to grow and learn the industry with us. The right individual will have excellent customer service skills and an aptitude for learning about IT. This position will afford the opportunity for further education and certification, as well as advancement opportunities.
Typical duties include:
- Remote and on-site help desk support
- Remote and on-site server support
- Remote and on-site network support
- Assisting with project planning and development
- Assisting with documentation projects
- Learning about and testing new products
Potential candidates will possess:
- A high school diploma
- A working knowledge of IT
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within North Carolina
- Excellent communication skills
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts (Network )
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows client operating systems (XP through 10)
- Familiarity with Microsoft server operating systems
- Familiarity with server virtualization technologies
