Bequest Staffing solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our dedicated team in a Long-Term Care Facility in Queens, NY on a part-time or per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily nursing activities within our nursing home facility. Your expertise and leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for our nursing staff.

Benefits:

Pay: $65/hr. (***Urgently hiring for day shift 7a-3p***).

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.

· Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and address any concerns or challenges.

· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.

· Ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, adhering to all applicable nursing standards, guidelines, and protocols.

· Coordinate and provide ongoing training and educational opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as nursing home policies and procedures.

· Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and with empathy.

· Act as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively.

· Monitor and manage nursing supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate availability and proper utilization.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

· Current, unencumbered RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State is required.

· Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency are a plus!!

· Minimum of [2] years of nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred.

· Strong clinical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, residents, and their families.

· In-depth knowledge of nursing home regulations, policies, and procedures.
