The Foundation Specialist provides a wide range of support to the Bergen Community College Foundation office, activities, initiatives, programs, and processes including donor stewardship, special events coordination, annual fundraising, donor database management, recording of all contributions, marketing, and meeting notices, minutes, and other correspondence.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.
Required: Effectively utilize computer equipment, specialized software applications, and a variety of standard office machines used for processing the work of a Foundation office. Exceptionally organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and to collaborate effectively with team members. Able to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Experience managing various external and internal relationships and working with culturally diverse populations.
Preferred: Familiarity with the Blackbaud suite of software products (Raisers Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, and AcademicWorks (scholarship management platform).
