Location: Bergey’s Corporate Office- Souderton, PA

The Junior Network Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and support of the organization's network infrastructure. This role involves working closely with IT team to ensure efficient and effective network operations, including troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues.
• Provide support for LAN, WAN, and wireless network segments.
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Help in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining network connections and cabling.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Prepare and update network diagrams and technical reports.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
• Assist in training users on network best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate’s degree in information technology, or a certification related field.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in IT support or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and technologies.
• Skills:
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Basic knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
