Job Purpose: Provides financial information to management; prepare preliminary reports and assists the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records. 

Essential Functions

1. Process vendor invoices and enter transactions into company ERP software
2. Pay vendor invoices within vendor terms
3. Reconcile open accounts payable (AP) transactions with general ledger accounts
4. Respond to vendor account inquiries
5. Maintain vendor records
6. Responsible for 1099 processing
7. Maintain and reconcile petty cash box
8. Responsible for the accounting filing system
9. Maintain use tax documentation
10. Support various elements of the month end close and reporting processes
11. Contribute to team effort by actively participating in team meetings

Additional Responsibilities

1. Serve as a back-up for Accounts Receivable duties. 
2. Serve as a back-up for phone coverage as needed.
