Job Summary:
The Automotive Accounting Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting within the dealership. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statement, according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer's format and time frame.
• Partner with assigned dealership(s) management to ensure that the store(s) is operating to produce planned profit, return on investment, and equity.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of expenses throughout dealership operations and assist dealership employees with understanding the expenses.
• Ensure that complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records for assigned dealership(s) sales, purchases, and other financial transactions are maintained according to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ensure that all tax reporting and payments are made on a timely basis.
• Develop and maintain an effective cash management system.

Qualifications:

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Previous automotive industry experience.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
• Solid skills in accounting software, including CDK and Microsoft Excel.
