**Description**
Berkeley College is seeking a highly qualified and motivated adjunct faculty leader to develop a Tourism degree program, concentrations, continuing education courses, standard courses, and the related syllabi, and to teach those courses at our New York City campus and Online. This effort will support Berkeley College's vision of becoming the college of choice for students pursuing lifelong success in dynamic Tourism careers.
Berkeley College has a diverse student population across its New York and New Jersey locations.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop a tourism concentration program starting with developing three tourism courses to launch on April 4, 2022.
* Serve as a faculty leader for the program.
* Engage in the online and onsite Canvas classrooms and reply to emails, students' questions, etc., within 24 hours on non-holiday weekdays.
* Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers within the timeframe set forth by Berkeley policy, providing effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
* Comply with Berkeley guidelines and expectations for quality faculty engagement online.
* Support Berkeley College initiatives and departments.
**Job Requirements:**
A Master's degree and other appropriate credentials, if applicable.
* Subject matter expertise in Tourism and the development of syllabi, continuing education, and standard degree courses, concentrations, and degree programs.
* Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education.
* A willingness to teach at the New York City Campus and Online.
* Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning.
* Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
