The Berkeley College Student Aide is dedicated to the positive promotion of Berkeley College and is an essential component of Berkeley’s Campus Operations and student experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Campus Operations Officer with tasks and duties that directly support the campus operations, student service and satisfaction, student engagement and connection, and student assessment
•  Positively represent the Office of Campus Operations
• Act as an ambassador for current students and events
• Provide quality customer service to your fellow classmates and associates
• Assist the recruitment of future student aides as requested

General Tasks

• Represent the college as directed in projects including creating and contributing content, flyers, photos, blog postings, and interactions on the educational experience for the Berkeley College social media channels
• Engage in social media in representation of the college
• Submit blog posts and media for the social media team as directed

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a current Berkeley student
• Must be a very personable person and able to work collaboratively with fellow Student Aids and Associates.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs.
• Working knowledge of the major social media channels and willingness to learn
• Must be able to work independently with the ability to take initiative, forward-thinking, and sound judgment
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Good work ethic to perform assigned tasks
• Knowledgeable about where to refer students for official answers to questions
• Willingness to develop or improve public speaking skills
• Possess a sympathetic attitude and should be an active listener
• Ability to actively engage in conversations with students, peers and able to gain the confidence of others
• Genuine desire to be a part of the Berkeley College team
