What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk position at Berkeley Eye Center?

We currently seek a friendly individual with medical office experience to handle Front Desk responsibilities in our Baytown, Texas office.
Hours Of Operation:
MONDAY – THURSDAY: 8AM – 5PM
FRIDAY: 8AM – 2PM
Primary Tasks include:
- Patient Check Out & Check-In
- Answering & distributing incoming telephone calls
- Setting Clinical Appointments.
- Insurance Verification
Ideal Candidates:
Vision Care experience. Excellent communication skills on the phone and in person. Able to multi-task. Strong medical insurance background w/ 3 years' experience of insurance verification and EMR experience. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a big plus.
