As a Software Engineer, you will support the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA. This hybrid role allows you to combine the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and impact of on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development: Provide full-stack .NET systems software engineering using modern design principles, object-oriented principles, and abstract data types.

Lifecycle Support: Assist the Government with records management, system lifecycle sustainment, configuration, testing, training, release, and operations.

Agile Methodologies: Support Product Backlog grooming, Sprint Planning, and Sprints, documenting user stories that capture acceptance criteria and a definition of done.

Technical Analysis: Analyze information and user requirements, design and debug software, and document technical notes within GOTS and open-source software.

Testing and Maintenance: Provide software testing, problem-solving, requirements collection, stakeholder collaboration, user support, DevSecOps support, SOPs, and system maintenance.

Change Management: Submit trouble tickets via Remedy to request changes to system requirements, issues, infrastructure requirements, incidents, and other system support.

Database Management: Plan, create, and manage databases, develop back-end systems functionality, and design APIs.

UI/UX Design: Design user interfaces and integrate web applications with back-end systems and databases.

Code Development: Write maintainable, documented, and testable code in C#, JavaScript, and SQL using .NET Framework and .NET Core, with tools like Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps Server.

Technology Stack Maintenance: Continuously maintain and update on-premises and cloud technology stacks.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in full-stack business systems web software engineering.

Technical Skills: 3 years of experience with C#.NET, JavaScript, MS Visual Studio, SQL, React JS or Angular JS, HTML, CSS, MS ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core, and MS SQL Server. Desired experience with Microsoft software modernization, jQuery, Bootstrap, DevExpress, Django frameworks, containerization, Kubernetes, Azure, and cloud-native architecture.

DevOps Experience: 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Services, Azure DevOps Server, or Team Foundation Server, and managing modern DevSecOps processes.

Agile and CI/CD: 5 years of experience with agile software development, microservices architecture, managed relational databases, web APIs, software operations, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity.

Certification: CompTIA Security Certified.
