• Follow all GMP’s, SOP’s, use raw materials based on FIFO and follow all safety guidelines

• Leads team and works with management

• Trains and coaches employees, and works with supervisor to address performance issues

• Understands and is able to perform all positions in their department to be able to fill in when necessary

• Lead both Production and Packaging teams and work with management on any issues
• Understands all procedures in Production and Packaging
• Must be able to enforce the rules in Production and Packaging
• Strive to find ways to improve they system for production and labor
• Minimize downtime and mistakes
• Brings safety and food safety concerns to the attention of the shift supervisor
• Communicates effectively to the teams and manages effectively
• Must be People First minded

Experience and Training

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Minimum one year of manufacturing experience required
• Food manufacturing experience desired
• Machine operating experience desired
• Previous leadership experience desired
• Microsoft office experience desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to understand written or spoken English instructions
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Ability to work with pork, dairy, soy, wheat, egg, shellfish, nut products, and fish
• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
• Organization and time management skills required
• Technical/mechanical skills desired
