Overview

The Service Contract Sales Representative I is responsible for prospecting new customers, determining customer needs, and then developing, estimating, and selling HVAC service agreements for commercial and industrial clients. This position will also focus on developing customer relationships and creating a backlog of Service Contracts to grow the reoccurring service contract business.

Responsibilities

  • Source and contact potential clients daily. Document and report on findings accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
  • Determine customer needs and estimate all sourced work.
  • Maintain and update CRM weekly.
  • Actively participate in relevant training.
  • Monitor, report, meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan.
  • Thoroughly learn the company's service offerings to educate clients and influence sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Engineering or a minimum of two (2) years of commercial HVAC sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to persistently and aggressively call on market leads, tech leads, and new sales leads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Possess the ability to provide innovative ideas for excellent customer care.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to source leads, make cold calls, follow-up calls, and visits to potential clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
