Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Master Planner consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Exemplifies the Berry Behaviors and Values at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Berry inside and outside of the plant.
• Work in a professional manner with all associates and department managers/supervisors.
• Work with Supply Chain Managers, Plant Schedulers and Procurement to identify bottlenecks within the production schedule. 
• Create and evaluate reports for internal teams.
• Support SCM for the monthly demand and capacity review process with the Plant leadership and Op's teams. This will be done to ensure that the capacity and production plan developed is achievable.
• Lead production reviews with plant management and production leads to help drive production output improvement and will have all visibility to molds and machines that are under/over utilized based upon current and future demand.
• Ensure that the demand and capacity assumptions are realistic, achievable and are aligned with the S&OP forecast.
• Lead/coordinate efforts in new project launches, whether that be with external or internal customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of the detailed production schedule. 
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
• Lead meetings/calls with team members to ensure the schedulers are maintained, achievable and align with customer orders, safety stocks and forecast levels.
• Coordinate necessary raw materials with Purchasing and Warehouse to deliver on production schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
