This is a First shift position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This employee will primarily be responsible for welding tip assemblies, burners, and various other assemblies comprised of similar and dissimilar metals, i.e. copper, steel and stainless steel.

Candidates must be proficient in GMAW and GTAW welding processes.

Position Responsibilities:

• Weld Tip assemblies, Burner Lances and dissimilar metal barrel assemblies, selecting proper components to be welded (Tips and appropriate sleeves) based on engineering drawings, preheat items to proper temperature and assembly and weld Tips/Burner Lances to drawing specifications.
• Braze Tip Assemblies.
• Welding Furnace Panel Pipe Coils.
• Operate cranes, fork trucks and other equipment i.e. grinders, weld/burning equipment etc. and be responsible for the general maintenance of welding equipment
• Accurately report all completion sheets and time cards.
• Must be competent, proficient and certified in accordance with applicable Berry Metal Company weld procedures.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
