Job Title: Operating Room/Circulator-RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room/Circulator-RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the operating room while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. The Operating Room/Circulator-RN will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures

2. Assisting with patient positioning and prep

3. Monitoring patient vitals during surgery

4. Assisting surgeons during procedures

5. Administering medications as needed

6. Documenting patient progress and procedure details

7. Providing post-operative care and monitoring

8. Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Current RN license in the state of practice

2. BLS and ACLS certification

3. Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work well under pressure

6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

7. Ability to prioritize and make quick decisions

8. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
