Job title: Registered Nurse, PCU, Med-surg Adult

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Med-surg Adult department. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the management of acutely ill patients. This position requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, report changes to healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Assist in the management of acute and chronic conditions
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or Med-surg Adult setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
