Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our healthcare team. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
• Coordinate and manage patient care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care being provided
• Assist with staff training and development
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
