Responsible for managing the Oliver compensation andbenefits programs. Plans, develops andimplements new and revised compensation and benefit programs, policies andprocedures to align with company’s goals and ensure competitive practicesglobally. Responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs areconsistently administered in compliance with internal policies and governmentregulations. Acts as the HR contact for employees in the Trevose office.
Compensation
• Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
• Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with trends and corporate objectives.
• Provides advice to managers on pay decisions, policy interpretations and job evaluations.
• Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
• Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
• Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
• Monitors compensation to ensure internal and external pay equity; pay for performance; and retention of talented people.
• Partners with leadership to support broad job definitions and skill-based pay initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
Employee Benefits and Programs
• Manages employee benefit programs such as life, health, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, voluntary benefits, retiree benefits, employee assistance, wellness benefits, reimbursement programs, etc.
• Provides employee education and assistance with benefits programs.
• Manages the Oliver 401k plan; and serves as a member of the Oliver benefits committee.
• Works with Payroll Specialist(s) and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
• Completes records, reporting and other documentation required by federal, state and provider rules, regulations and policies.
• Ensures compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA and ERISA.
• Leads required audits for all compensation and benefit programs.
Employment Law and Regulatory Compliance
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Recommend revisions to company policies, accordingly, including the company handbook.
Payroll and HRIS
• Oversees the payroll process and ensures payroll records are maintained in accordance to federal, state and local regulations.
• Works with Payroll Specialist(s) to ensure accurate/timely submission of payroll.
• Works with Accounting to calculate quarterly/annual bonus programs.
• Maintains HRIS and time keeping database tables to provide for accurate records. Compiles HR reports for management.
