BeSpoke Vision needs an experienced NCLE or CPO/COA Paraoptometric Technician to help contribute to the best patient service experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a team of compassionate and engaging professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients!
In this role, you will assist with fitting and evaluations, perform I&R’s, order and manage all things contacts for our specialty contact lens clinic!
You will also contribute to our optometry clinic team by preparing patients to see our physicians, coordinate treatment plans, caretake patient needs and answer their questions, complete electronic patient charts accurately as well as anything else needed. This is a full-time position offering the stability of a career in healthcare, with NO WEEKENDS!
Requirements:
NCLE, CPO, COA or higher Certification
2 years successful health or patient care experience AND 1 year in an optometry or ophthalmology practice.

Ability to confidently work autonomously; knowing when to ask questions
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient with computers and technology

Physical requirements:

Some of your duties will include:
Self-managing timely patient pickup using our schedule as a guide
Prepping the exam rooms for patient arrival based on appointment type
Performing Contact Lens Evaluations/Fittings, Follow-up visits, troubleshooting & I&R’s as needed for soft, scleral, RGP & hybrid contact lenses
Ordering contact lenses and coordinate with patients
Managing trial contact lens inventory
Managing a list of to-do’s, coordinating with patients & pharmacies as needed
Verifying at the end of each day that contact lens patients have been cared for and their experiences charted correctly
Working up patients for all kinds of visits or consultations; including performing testing on equipment and documenting patient results accurately in our electronic health records
Having personable and meaningful conversations with patients, while guiding their experience to ensure you achieve objectives in a timely manner
Seeking out and investing in continuing education in your craft
Adhering to best clinical practices
Scribing visits and maintaining compliance
Continuing to build on and exceed the patient service experience
Contributing meaningfully during department and team meetings
Coordinating with the Clinic Director
Continual Self Development
