The Best Bev Processing Department is at the heart of our day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for creating and testing batches of various types of beverages, with an emphasis on accuracy and food safety.

Responsibilities:

• Follow batching instructions and Standard Operating Procedures and plant Good Manufacturing Practices
• Accurately weigh raw materials and closely monitor product blending and transfer
• Monitor and test product/batch quality and ensure specifications are met before proceeding
• Maintain positive workflow by monitoring process steps
• Ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently with an emphasis on food safety
• Effectively communicate with Production Supervisors and Quality Technicians to ensure fluid interdepartmental transfer
• Maintain batching and sanitization records
• Monitor equipment and report faults, concerns, and breakdowns to supervisor and production engineers
• Maintain a clean and safe production area
• Follow all safety rules and precautions and plant GMPs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three or more years experience with beverage production/processing
• Forklift certification required (training and certification can be provided)
• Excellent analytical and observational skills
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
• Excellent decision-making and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working in a noisy environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Computer skills preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred
