In this role, you will lead a team to develop the business strategy around the portfolio of advertising products across channels including onsite and offsite media. These advertising products help our advertisers meet their objectives, while helping shoppers discover & shop, as a part of Best Buy Ads. Given the quickly changing Retail Media landscape, this role requires an innovative leader who is comfortable piloting new ideas with a strong collaborative approach working cross functionally. This high visibility role requires management of multiple stakeholders and the ability to manage and influence up and across the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to use story-telling and have an ability to simplify complex technology to gain strategic alignment. This is a challenging, yet rewarding, role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Advertising Technology and the Retail Media landscape. 
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. 
What you’ll do
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Best Buy Ads via new Ad Products, ad technology and partnerships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as technology, sales, media, reporting & insights, creative and enablement to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of ad products
  • Monitor and analyze retail media trends, competitive landscape to optimize and improve Best Buy Ads complex product portfolio
  • Influences stakeholders through relationship building acting as compelling storyteller, leads with emotional intelligence, communicates with confidence
Basic qualifications
  • 8 years of experience in Advertising Technology, Media, TV platforms, or similar field
  • 8 years of experience leading cross-functionally and leading large, strategic work with a focus in change leadership
  • 5 years of experience building strategic plans, business plans and/or developing roadmaps
  • Proven ability to negotiate partnerships and business agreements in a highly competitive and ever-evolving market
Preferred qualifications
  • 12 years of experience in Advertising Technology, Media, TV platforms, or similar field
  • Bachelors or equivalent experience in Business, advertising or related field
