Best Driving Academy, part of BEST Logistics Group, is now hiring dynamic Part-time CDL Instructors at our BRAND NEW facility in Burlington, NC!

Part-Time Instructors will work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
At Best Driving Academy, our goal is to prepare our students for real-world opportunities by providing them with training in a state-of-the-art environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and real-world knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL. Instructors MUST be able to provide instruction in a manual transmission vehicle (no restrictions) and MUST be willing to provide classroom, yard, and over the road instruction.

Job Duties

• Provide instruction/examination to students in both a classroom and range environment.

• Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors.

• Provide instruction in a classroom environment.

• Provide instruction/examination behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer

• Observe, document, and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

• Set up the classroom and range daily as needed.

Qualifications

• Posses a valid Class A CDL License & Medical Certification
• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Must be able to pass a MVR and Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to obtain a copy of their Highschool Transcripts or GED (or copy of HS Diploma) for instructor packet
• Must be able to become a licensed instructor by the State of North Carolina.
