Best Point is Hiring a School Based Day Treatment Team Leader Near Cincinnati, OH

Best Point is seeking a full time School Based Day Treatment Team Leader. The primary responsibility of a SBDT Team Lead is to provide administrative and supportive supervision to assigned staff as well as serving as the point of contact for SBDT assigned partnerships. .
Reports to : School Based Day Treatment Director
Direct reports includ e: Therapeutic Group Leaders (Qualified Mental Health Specialist only)
Requirements:
  • Certification in the Teaching Family Model.
  • Must be Licensed ( LSW or LPC)
  • Master’s Degree ( Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university)
  • Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exposure to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 pounds.
  • Must be capable of sustained exertion and be able to participate in the physical restraint techniques and exercises required to always ensure safety of clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct Client Service:
  • Seeks to lend help appropriately to assigned staff/clients.
  • Conducts and develops diagnostic assessments, ISPs, and other clinical documentation accordingly.
  • Alerts Director of client successes and challenges.
Internal and External Collaboration:
  • Alerts Director to staff successes and challenges.
  • Promotes and models effective communication.
  • Oversees consulting, collaborating, and coordinating treatment with members/systems of the treatment team on behalf of clients and families.
  • Attends agency and program meetings and functions.
  • Demonstrates and encourages strength-based, trauma informed communication.
  • Models integrity of the TFM model for staff to support staff development.
  • Maintains consistent and constructive communication with direct reports.
  • Participates in BH Group Supervisions rotation.
Quality Assurance and Effectiveness:
  • Provides administrative and/or supportive supervision to assigned staff.
  • Assures agency compliance to standards of care within community and regulatory guidelines as defined by accrediting entities.
  • Receives supportive supervision training and develops competency in serving as a secondary evaluator for TFM certification.
  • Conducts EOI feedback with staff.
  • Supports staff in maintaining standards of care as defined by TFM.
  • Assist with outcome collection as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with professional licensure.
  • Contributes to program development and problem-solving activities.
Administrative:
  • Provides administrative and supportive supervision on a weekly basis to each provider.
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of all required documentation and maintains all records in accordance with expected guidelines.
  • A Credible schedule is maintained through the work week.
  • Demonstrate independence in using Credible Reports: SBDT outcomes report, Late ticket analysis
  • Uses correct billing codes and location types
  • Complies with regulation regarding client confidentiality in all settings.
  • Understands the importance of attendance, enrollment, and ratio.
  • Completes necessary administrative tasks in ADP.
  • Coordinates provision of supplies, snacks, and incentives.
