About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, performing night audits, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit, balance, and report on various hotel areas (e.g., rooms, front desk, group reservations, and corporate accounts).
- Verify the accuracy of front office accounting records and prepare financial summaries.
- Track room revenues, occupancy rates, and operating statistics.
- Process room charges, taxes, and guest payments (cash, check, and credit card).
- Ensure all account postings and balances are accurate.
- Generate reports summarizing daily operations for management review.
- Assist with front desk agent duties, including guest check-ins and addressing guest inquiries.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior hotel experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using front office equipment and hotel management software.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and ability to analyze data.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
