Overview:

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team at BW. The ideal candidate will bring office management experience and exceptional organizational skills to our dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the General Manager to oversee hotel operations, including guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, teambuilding, and staff development.
• Supervises department heads and manages all aspects of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.
• Approves plans, budgets, staffing, and operating procedures for rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, and security departments.
• Monitors the budget closely and takes corrective action as needed to achieve financial goals.
• Acts as an administrative liaison between departments and ensures adherence to internal cost control measures.
• Coordinates training programs and assists in developing long-term and annual plans, operating reports, forecasts, and budgets with the General Manager.
• Ensures safety compliance, updates emergency plans, and conducts effective training across all departments.
• Addresses guest and employee complaints promptly and effectively.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and energy management programs.
• Conducts regular facility inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety, and quality standards throughout the hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:

• A minimum of three years of hotel management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership qualities and a professional demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in various computer software applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
Salary will be based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
