Location: St. Louis, MO Work Schedule: M-F 0730-1630 Qualifications
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet software, and SharePoint applications.
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a health-related field. Minimum of 2 years in the relevant field.
Knowledge of Air Force and professional standards, military and civilian guidelines. Understanding of federal and civilian accrediting agency standards, state/national requirements, and healthcare legislation.
Knowledge of credentialing and privileging functions, regulations, and management techniques.
Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods to improve Credentialing and Privileging Program operations.
Knowledge of health care administration, management functions, and related laws and regulations. Proficient in medical terminology and procedures.
Extensive knowledge of inspection standards, DoD regulations, accreditation standards, and state laws.
Ability to effectively use automated data systems like JCCQAS, Carepoint, and EHR systems.
Skilled in researching and identifying complex problems in quality improvement and credentialing processes.
Strong verbal and writing skills for developing relationships and preparing presentations.
Highly Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to identify problems or unusual situations regarding administrative issues.
Skill and ability to collect and analyze program data and report results of continuous monitoring activities for use in organizational decision-making.
Certification in Certified Professional Credentials Specialist and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management is desired.
Master's degree in business, management, or a health-related field, and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area(s)
