BET Investments, Inc. develops, leases and manages shopping centers, apartments, student housing, office buildings and mixed use projects throughout the United States. BET Investments is currently seeking a full time Housekeeper for one of our premiere properties in Winter Garden, FL.

The Housekeeper maintains the physical condition of the property in a clean and well-groomed manner in accordance with safety standards.

Duties

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
• Replace light bulbs or request maintenance to assist.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Report maintenance/damage theft and found articles issues to the Property Manager in a timely manner.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Help prepare rooms for meetings and other social or business functions. Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware
• Completes all necessary training as required for the position, including Fair Housing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to work both inside and outside in all types of weather.
• Previous experience in Residential properties is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
