bet365 is Hiring a Health, Safety and Security Coordinator Near Denver, CO

As a Health, Safety and Security Coordinator you will identify and manage all Health, Safety and Security compliance issues and improvements.

Joining our new Denver office, you will assist the business to monitor performance and ensure compliance with health and safety obligations aligned to and in accordance with state and federal standards.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000 annually.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified safety professional qualification, relevant degree or equivalent experience in environmental or occupational safety and health and membership of professional organizations.
  • Detailed knowledge of risk assessments and management of risks.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety management system standards and understanding of related health, safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Experience with health and safety audits and associated compliance and assurance activities.
  • Prior involvement with health and safety incident investigations and the effective coordination of third party security contractors.
  • Experience interpreting government requirement documents, conducting security briefings and access control systems.
  • Relevant experience managing safety in a corporate or facilities services environment.
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Adept at leveraging data and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining policies, processes and procedures while ensuring people and the business are protected and supported by delivering engaging and impactful initiatives that reduce risk and ensure safety best practice.
  • Maintaining compliance of safety and business continuity processes and systems to Company and industry standards.
  • Completing risk assessments, recording accidents and incidents and assisting with investigations including implementation of an annual general risk assessment and fire risk assessment for US properties.
  • Ensuring the display screen equipment workstation e-learning rollout is completed and any follow up requirements for users are reviewed.
  • Managing the scheduling and record keeping of all health and safety e-learning and training including but not limited to first aid and fire warden training.
  • Maintaining fire safety compliance duties to be undertaken as directed by group managers and department leadership.
  • Periodically conducting audits and reviews to ensure execution of compliance and health and safety standards across the facilities function and subcontractors. Leading periodical health and safety meetings to review audit findings and actions.
  • Supporting department managers by reviewing risk assessment method statements (RAMS) for all subcontractors prior to works being approved including predefined RAMS for emergency call-outs.
  • Implementing a compliance monitoring plan and audit calendar for US properties to measure the organization’s adherence to applicable state and federal laws, regulations and standards detailing all aspects of facilities management, a mechanism for actions and review to ensure compliance.
  • Managing statutory and mandatory compliance within the Facilities department, providing regular updates on non-conformities to the Head of Facilities, raising any potential business compliance concerns accordingly.
