Job PurposeThe Laundry Technician is an integral part of the Bethany Children's Health Center family. This position is tasked with providing clean laundry and orderly distribution to the assigned areas of the hospital. This position is responsible for separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry as well as other duties as needed under the supervision of the laundry coordinator. The Laundry Technician should provide a clean, safe environment for our patients, their families and our staff. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Overall processing of linens and related duties required to achieve this task
Performs daily tasks like separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry to provide adequate supply of linen and clothing for staff and patients.
Work ScheduleFull-Time, Monday - Friday: 2:00p - 10:30p with rotating weekends. QualificationsExperience: Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required, laundry or related work experience desirable. Base Pay & Shift DifferentialsThe Laundry Technician hourly rate begins at $15.53 per hour and goes up based on education and experience. BCHC Also Offers Shift Differentials For Working Evening, Nights Or Weekend Hours. If You Were To Work Those Time Frames, This Amount Would Be Added To Your Hourly Base Rate Each Hour. Approved Rates Are As Follows
Weekdays - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m: $1.25/hour
Weekdays - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m: $1.25/hour
Weekends - 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m: $1.50/hour
Weekends - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m: $2.75/hour
Weekends - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m: $3.00/hour
