Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDutyPercent of TimePrepares medications for dispensing including drawing up unit dose oral syringes, packaging tablets, and affixing labels for pharmacist review

Customer service activities including answering the phone and resolving issues; assisting customers

Housekeeping duties including taking out trash, keeping the pharmacy free of clutter and maintaining a clean work station

May assist with staffing/coverage needs with the inpatient pharmacy

QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED.
Experience6 months’ experience as technician preferred, but not required.
License/Certification/CredentialCurrent Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician Permit in Good Standing or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
