Overview:
As a Christian Teacher at Bethany Learning Academy, you will play a vital role in providing quality education while integrating Christian values and principles into the learning environment. This position combines a commitment to academic excellence with a dedication to nurturing spiritual growth and character development in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
  • Develop and implement curriculum in alignment with state standards, incorporating Christian values into lesson plans.
  • Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and spiritual reflection.
Biblical Integration:
  • Infuse Christian teachings and values into daily lessons across subjects.
  • Lead students in prayer, devotions, and discussions that nurture spiritual growth.
Teaching and Instruction:
  • Provide effective and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Encourage active participation and inquiry-based learning.
Spiritual Mentorship:
  • Serve as a spiritual mentor to students, promoting a love for God, others, and learning.
  • Conduct and participate in chapel services, prayer meetings, and other spiritual activities.
Character Development:
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture.
  • Model and reinforce Christian values such as love, kindness, humility, and integrity.
Parent and Community Engagement:
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
