We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for our preschool students. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our preschool curriculum, incorporating literacy education and other early childhood education strategies.
- Teach and support children in a classroom setting, providing individualized instruction and adapting to the needs of each student.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to provide early intervention and support for students with special needs.
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional strategies.
- Provide tutoring and enrichment activities outside of regular classroom hours to further support student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with preschool-age children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of literacy education and early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Experience with behavior management and classroom management.
- Familiarity with standardized testing and assessment procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to manage a classroom environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
