As a Post Release Services (PRS) Family Reunification Program Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the successful administration and management of duties across the case management staff within the Post Release and Family Reunification program. This individual is also responsible for overseeing and maintaining consistency with professional standards, contract regulations, and National Office expectations. The individual in this position should promote a quality of care culture that staff should provide to the families and children served.

This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend project team, staff, local, and national meetings that will enhance provision of services to unaccompanied minors and their families;
  • Direct, train, and develop case management and lead case management staff within the program;
  • Promote effective operations through hiring, training, and orientation of new hires;
  • Conduct individual supervision meetings with all direct reports on a weekly basis;
  • Conduct team meetings on a monthly basis;
  • Conduct monthly group supervision to review changed policies, issues or concerns from record reviews or data system reviews, and implement new procedural changes;
  • Review all submitted reports and home studies to provide feedback and corrections within the defined deadline timeframe, while ensuring that all reports are submitted to the contractor through the data portal in compliance with contractor and agency quality and time requirements;
  • Cultivate an environment where program staff model positive adult behaviors, while also nurturing youth and families, while providing structure, support, and respect;
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget, goals, and objectives for this program by collaborating with the National VP team for Refugee and Immigrant Services;
  • Receive and process intake and referrals, while distributing case assignments in a fair and equitable manner;
  • Develop, update, and maintain the program operating manuals;
  • Ensure program operations and services are consistent with the established agency, state, federal, and licensing standards and requirements;
  • Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through completion of staff evaluations, conference request, time sheets and reimbursement vouchers to include timely mileage submission;
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop positive relationships with referral sources, state and federal agencies, volunteer and community agencies, and employers and individuals;
  • Manage the vacation schedule to ensure adequate coverage and availability of services;
  • Ensure all case recording expectations satisfy state and agency requirements;
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and theories related to the program, while proactively recommending changes to agency policy and practice, as necessary;
  • Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
