Position Overview: As a Pediatric Medical Assistant with us, you'll be an essential part of our mission to Deliver The Unexpected, Engage our Community, and Value every little Patient.    Qualifications:

   • Must be bilingual (Spanish)
   • Must Have Medical Assistant Certification
   • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
   • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent training.
   • Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
   • Compassionate nature and a strong sense of empathy, with the ability to comfort and reassure anxious children and parents.
   • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Essential Functions: 

• Prepare patients for exams
• Take patient medical history 
• Perform simple office lab test (i.e. urine, pregnancy test, glucose tests, etc.)
• Draw periodic lab tests and complete requisitions for ordered tests
• Prepare and organize exam rooms by cleaning, stocking and assisting in ordering supplies
• Clean and Autoclave medical instruments
• Assist physicians with entering patient data and orders in the computer.
