Bethlehem Preschool in Dallastown, Pa is looking for three qualified individuals to join our team of dynamic, fun-loving teachers. The current openings include:

Lead Teacher (4-year-old classroom)

Assistant Teacher (4-year-old classroom)

Assistant Teacher (3-year-old classroom)

Preferred Qualifications for Lead Teacher:

A Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Ed or Child Development.

Minimum of 2 years Preschool Teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications for Assistant:

A bachelors or associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Ed or Child Development.

Experience working with children.

Lead Teacher Job Description:

A qualified 4-year-old preschool teacher will prepare small children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education. A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods, as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so he/she can easily acclimate to the next level of education.

Preschool Assistant Job Description:

A qualified preschool assistant will help the lead teacher in preparing small children for the next level of their education. A preschool assistant must have a great love and patience for children. The assistant will provide support to the teacher before, during and after the school day as needed with the goal of contributing to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child.

Responsibilities for all openings include some or all of the following:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to engage and educate preschool students
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children in the classroom
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children

Job Hours:

Lead Teacher: 8:30am to 3:30pm

Preschool Assistant: 8:45am to 11:45 am or 8:45am to 3:15pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
